The Bike Ambulance 1 (BA1) is the original design for the bike ambulance. It exists as a proof of concept that a fully electric motorcycle sized vehicle is capable of transporting patients safely in a partially enclosed housing. And that this vehicle can be manufactured inexpensively.

The BA1 is the most simple and compact version of the bike ambulance. This and its lower price make it more suited to some Asian, African, and south American countries.

The BA1 has a working prototype and is undergoing testing to ensure Manufacturability. The BA1 is also being tested in response time efficiency compared with traditional ambulances.
